Project Details

Maysons Udbhava marks the origin of our storytelling in Jakkur, Bangalore. Faced with a narrow, half-acre urban plot, we reimagined the row-house typology through vertical intelligence and sensory design. This collection of ten G+2 homes features double-height volumes and grounding materials like stabilized soil blocks, mud plaster, and natural stone. Each unit, named after a local flower like Mallika and Parijatha, offers a unique botanical identity reflected in bespoke wall art and aromatic gardens. Beyond architecture, Udbhava stands as our first fully integrated development, blending land strategy with well-being. It proves that compact urban living can prioritize human health and emotional resonance without sacrificing commercial value.

Udbhava is envisioned as a compact urban sanctuary that proves small city plots can still hold depth, identity and emotional richness. Instead of chasing scale or spectacle, the project focuses on how everyday life feels inside a home — how light moves through the day, how materials meet the skin, how greenery softens the nervous system, and how a family can feel both connected and private within a tight footprint. The vision was to create a row-house community that feels intimate rather than congested. Each home is treated as a personal world with its own flower-inspired identity, sensory cues and layered experiences, while still belonging to a coherent streetscape. Architecture, interiors, landscape and branding are all aligned to tell one story: that well-being is not a luxury add-on, but the starting point of design.By integrating development strategy with neuroscience-informed and nature-led design, Udbhava aims to become a reference for a new kind of urban living in Bangalore — one where commercial viability, cultural rootedness and human well-being are held together in a single, thoughtful framework.
