Mauna- Sakhaleshpura
Project Details
Mauna is an 80-acre nature estate near Sakleshpur by Delight Group, envisioned with Maysons’ philosophy of well-being, context and sensory design. Set within coffee plantation terrain and shaped around natural water bodies, the project offers farm plots with optional cottages that allow residents to experience the authentic calm of Sakleshpur in a refined and grounded way.
The land is the soul of the project. Rolling terrain, water catchments, coffee plants, pepper vines, silver oak trees, natural forest trees and birds create a living environment that already carries the qualities of retreat. Maysons’ role is to preserve this essence and turn it into a meaningful, inhabitable experience.

The master plan of Mauna is organized around the site’s natural water systems. Catchment areas are shaped as water bodies, becoming the emotional and visual spine of the estate and creating orientation, calmness, views and climatic comfort. Plots are planned to follow terrain and plantation patterns, balancing privacy with a constant visual connection to landscape.
Cottages are imagined as contemporary interpretations of Sakleshpur’s regional character, often wrapped around full or semi-courtyards that hold water, seating and landscape pockets. Natural stone, lime plaster, shaded verandah-like edges and indoor-outdoor continuity create a retreat language that feels local, tactile and deeply connected to coffee, pepper, rain and birdsong.
